Political party representatives, association presidents, union representatives and earthquake victims living in Manisa attended the lokma event organized by Manisa Çukurovaliler Association.
President of Manisa Çukurova Association, İrfan Doruk, said that they organized a lokma charity in the center of Manisa in order not to forget the pain and losses experienced in the disaster that took place on February 6, 2023, and said, "The people of Manisa have supported us since the day of the earthquake. I would like to thank all the people of Manisa." President İrfan Doruk said, “As the Manisa Çukurova Association, we organized a lokma charity on the first anniversary of the disaster of February 6th century. Our country and our nation have passed a very serious test. We had houses destroyed in the earthquake. We had injuries. We had citizens who died. More than a hundred thousand buildings were destroyed. 11 million citizens in 13 provinces were affected by this earthquake. As Manisa Çukurovaliler Association, we organized a lokma charity in order not to forget the 6th of February and not to let it be forgotten. The people of Manisa showed great interest in our cause. They accepted our offering, prayed for the deceased and wished healing for the injured. The people of Manisa stood by us from the moment the earthquake occurred at 4:17 a year ago. As an association, it is not enough to thank the people of Manisa enough. Today we wanted to bring Manisa and our earthquake region together. It was a nice event. "I would like to thank the board of directors who contributed to the event and all the guests who attended our event," he said.
