Icing and Frost Warning from Meteorology

The General Directorate of Meteorology published the daily weather forecast report for Sunday, February 4.

According to the latest evaluations; While it was partly and very cloudy throughout Turkey, the east of Marmara, the Eastern Mediterranean (except Mersin), the northeast of Central Anatolia, the Western and Central Black Sea, Eastern Anatolia (except Malatya and Kars), Southeastern Anatolia and Çankırı, Artvin, Gümüşhane and Bayburt. It was predicted that the surrounding areas would be rainy.

While the precipitation is expected to be rain and showers in coastal areas and Southeastern Anatolia, and sleet and snow in other places, icing and frost along with haze and fog are expected in the central and eastern parts.

There is an avalanche danger in the inner parts of the Eastern Black Sea Region and in the north and east of Eastern Anatolia.

While it is expected that the air temperature will increase by 2 to 4 degrees in the northwestern parts and there will be no significant change in other places, the wind is expected to blow generally from the south and southwest directions, sometimes in moderate strength.
