Green Crescent Will Turn Pedals into Health

Green Crescent Sports Club aims to spread the love of cycling and contribute to a healthier future with the tours it organizes throughout Turkey.

Green Crescent Sports Club, which operates in various sports branches, especially athletics, cycling, boxing, archery, wrestling, scouting, gymnastics, judo, table tennis, taekwondo and swimming, with its organization throughout Turkey, participates in national and international cycling races with its professional athletes and offers services for cycling lovers. It also attracts great attention with the tours it organizes.

The Green Crescent Historical Peninsula Cycling Tour, which is planned to be held on the first Sunday of every month in cooperation with the Turkish Green Crescent Society, the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Turkey and the Turkish Cycling Federation, was held for the first time on January 7 and the second one on February 4.

The tour started from Green Crescent Headquarters Sepetciler Pavilion; Sarayburnu Coastal Road continued through Yedikule, Edirnekapı, Ayvansaray, Balat, Unkapanı and Eminönü route and was completed at Sepetçiler Kasrı.

The tours will continue throughout the year, taking place on 3 March, 7 April, 5 May, 2 June, 7 July, 4 August, 1 September, 6 October, 3 November and 1 December 2024.

Green Crescent Historical Peninsula Bicycle Tours, which are planned to be held on the first Sunday of each month with approximately 200 participants, will take place with a larger participation in May.

The tours, which will continue throughout the year, will be held on 17 March, 21 April, 23 June, 21 July, 18 August, 15 September, 20 October, 17 November and 15 December.

The 11th Traditional Green Crescent Bicycle Tour, which will be held simultaneously in Turkey, will bring bicycle lovers together on Sunday, May 5, 2024.

The event, which is expected to be attended by approximately 2 thousand bicycle lovers in Istanbul and 15 thousand throughout Turkey, will have a festival atmosphere.
