Applications for TechXtile Innovation League Will End on January 28

UTİB, which has initiated applications for the TechXtile Innovation League, aims to contribute to the innovation-oriented development of companies while examining technological innovations and changes in the sector with this program. Applications for the TechXtile Innovation League, which supports the development of Turkish exports, will end on January 28.

TechXtile Start-Up Challenge will be held for the fifth time this year with the aim of incorporating new technologies and methods into production, designing innovative products, strengthening university-industry cooperation and increasing added value in exports in the field of textiles. Preliminaries have been completed for the event, which will be held in two different categories. While 20 projects passed the pre-selection in the Level-Up category of the TechXtile Start-Up Challenge, which covers startups at the idea stage, 10 projects managed to pass the pre-selection in the category of commercialized startups (Scale-Up) that passed the Idea stage.

Underlining that they want to create the entrepreneurship ecosystem in the textile and ready-made clothing sectors and bring entrepreneurs to the sector with the TechXtile Start Up Challenge, UTİB Chairman of the Board of Directors Pınar Taşdelen Engin said, “We are very happy and proud to realize the only techno-entrepreneurship program focused on the textile sector in Turkey. Our greatest desire is to contribute to the development of our entrepreneurs and our industry, and to lead the implementation of innovative ideas in increasing competition and constantly renewing market conditions. Thus, we aim to contribute to our country's economy with ideas that are applicable, measurable, support the formation of foreign trade surplus and current account surplus, and technologies that solve the problems of the sector. "We thank everyone who participated in the TechXtile Start-Up Challenge and wish our finalists success in the next stage," he said.
