Muğla Saved 70 Percent with Its Own Produce

Muğla Metropolitan Municipality continues to manufacture wooden products such as office furniture, picnic tables, benches, camellias, seating groups and Atatürk corners with 3 technicians and 10 carpenter masters in the Carpenter Workshop, which is equipped with modern tools, without any external service and at a cost below the market. The Metropolitan Municipality, which cost the production of 2023 Million 3 Thousand 260 TL at a market price of 592 thousand 954 TL in 414, achieved 70 percent savings.

Since 2014, products with a market price of 12 Million 361 Thousand 367 TL have been manufactured at a cost of 3 Million 832 Thousand 518 TL in the carpentry workshop of the Metropolitan Municipality, resulting in savings of 8 Million 525 Thousand TL. In percentage terms, 69 percent contribution was made to the municipal budget.

The products manufactured at low costs in the Carpenter Workshop, which Muğla Metropolitan Municipality established in the first year of its establishment by equipping it with modern tools, are carefully produced by expert hands and offered to the service of the people of Muğla. Wooden products such as office furniture, picnic tables, benches, camellias, seating groups and Ataturk corners are manufactured in the carpentry workshop, where quality production is made by using the resources of the Metropolitan Municipality efficiently. While the materials designed and produced by expert hands are placed where they are needed, the process from the first stage of production to assembly is carried out meticulously by the municipality staff.
