Stating that Izmir will continue with Hamza Dağ in the March 31 elections, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu stated that they know Izmir's transportation needs very well and talked about their plans.
Referring to the transportation investments made in Izmir, Minister Uraloğlu said, “We have completed the Istanbul - Izmir Highway and put it into service. We completed the Konak Tunnels and put them into service again. "We completed the Menemen Aliağa Çandarlı Highway and put it into service," he said.

Stating that the people of Izmir are impatiently waiting for the high-speed train, Minister Uraloğlu said, “We are walking quickly there. We had to hold a supply tender. We also made the supply tender and we continue on our way. "Hopefully, we will introduce high-speed train to Izmir and we will travel safely from Izmir to Ankara in 3,5 hours," he said. Reminding that they implemented the Suburban System project in Izmir and put it at the service of the citizens of Izmir, Minister Uraloğlu said, “We built the terminal building of Adnan Menderes Airport. Recently, we built the Marina in Yeni Foça and put it at the service of you, the people of Izmir. As you know, we have completed the Sabuncubeli Tunnel again. We are going to Manisa in 15 minutes. Therefore, we know the needs of Izmir. "Hopefully, we will continue to work with you and serve our Izmir," he said.
Pointing out that 215 billion lira of transportation investment was made in Izmir during the AK Party governments, Uraloğlu said, “We know the needs of Izmir. We know that Izmir needs a ring road. Again, we know the transportation needs within the city. We know your demands regarding Izban being taken to Bergama. We planned them too. "Hopefully, we will continue these services with you, together with the AK Party municipality," he said.
