Beam Installations Started at Darıca Osmangazi Bridge

Since the existing Osmangazi Bridge in Darıca could not accommodate the heavy traffic, 68 pre-stressed precast beams began to be placed on the additional bridge, which was started to be built by Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality.

The 205-meter-long, 7-span bridge will make access to Aşıroğlu Street and industrial areas in the region safer and more comfortable. Aşıroğlu Street and the Osmangazi Tunnel Junction connection road on the D-100 Highway will be converted into a 2×2 road. It will be crossed by a bridge over the TCDD line at the Marmaray Osmangazi Train Station location.

205 METERS LENGTH

Within the scope of the works carried out by the Department of Technical Affairs, terrace excavations are being carried out in the southern part of the second bridge, which was built in the area where traffic density is located. Elevation reinforcement installations are being made in the middle leg.
