In the marathon, which is in the 'Elite Label' category by the World Athletics Association and will include 42 kilometers, 10 kilometers and the Public Race, Hatayspor Coach Volkan Demirel will also run in the Public Race. Saying that he believes in the unifying power of sports, Demirel invited all Mersin residents to run in the marathon.
