Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu, who came to Adıyaman on Wednesday, 23 August within the scope of the opening program of Adıyaman Hospital Different Level Junction, which will be put into service with the videoconference participation of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, said Besni, which connects Adıyaman to Gaziantep via Besni and Araban districts, before the opening. - He made inspections on the Besni Viaduct, which is under construction on the Araban State Road.
Uraloğlu, who made a statement to the press after his inspections in the field, said that the Besni Viaduct was built with 10 spans. Minister Uraloğlu said the following regarding the project: “When we look at the standard of the current road, there is a traffic that can travel at a speed of about 30 km/h. The radii that we call bends or curves are low; There are slopes of eight and a half to nine percent. On the one hand, the traffic is slow, on the other hand, there is some trouble in this region in winter. We're almost at the finishing level. This viaduct, which is approximately 25 meters high, will shorten the travel time in traffic by approximately 10 minutes. We will provide safe traffic in bad weather conditions in winter. Hopefully, before the end of the year, we will finish the left side of the viaduct and the right side in the first months of next year. When we finish these productions, we will relieve the traffic in the region.”
