Antalya Metropolitan Municipality is demolishing and rebuilding the Naras Bridge in Manavgat, which has become unable to meet the needs. While the works are planned to be completed in 2.5 months, a temporary bridge was built next to the existing bridge over the Naras Stream to avoid disruption of transportation.

In addition to many neighborhoods on the Oymapınar route of Manavgat, the Naras Bridge, which is located on the transit route of İbradı district and has become one of the biggest problems due to its insufficiency in recent years, is being renovated. With the project carried out by the Antalya Metropolitan Municipality Department of Science Affairs, the bridge is planned to be completed in 20 months with a cost of approximately 2.5 million.

New Bridge Will Be Longer And Wider

The construction of the Naras Bridge on the road used by Dikmen, Bucakseyhler, Yukarı Işıklar, Tilkiler, Sevinç, Yaylaalan, Oymapınar and İbradı districts was started with the demolition of the existing bridge. The existing bridge, which is 7.5 meters wide and 30 meters long, is demolished and a new 13 meters wide and 33 meters long bridge is built in its place. The bridge, which can be used safely by pedestrians, is aimed to be completed in 2.5 months.

In order not to disrupt the transportation, a temporary bridge was built by filling the baks placed in the Naras Stream next to the existing bridge.
