The international cartoon competition on 'education' organized by Muğla Metropolitan Municipality for the 4th time this year has concluded. Ali Rastroo from Iran won the first prize in the International Cartoon Contest, while Emil Idzikowski from Poland came in second and Galym Boranbayev from Kazakhstan came in third.

The 4th International Cartoon Contest organized by Muğla Metropolitan Municipality with the subject of 'Education' has concluded.

In addition to Turkey, 4 authors from 65 countries, including England, America, Mexico, Japan, France, Italy, Poland, Iran, Croatia, Spain, participated with 412 cartoons in the International Cartoon Contest, which was organized for the 1324th time this year by the Muğla Metropolitan Municipality.

Ali Rastroo from Iran won the first prize of the 4th International Cartoon Contest on education, while Emil Idzikowski from Poland came in second and Galym Boranbayev from Kazakhstan came in third. Famous cartoonists Gürbüz Doğan Ekşioğlu, Şevket Yalaz, Abdülkadir Uslu, Mehmet Selçuk, Sarkis Paçacı, Ahmet Önel and humorist Savaş Ünlü took part in the jury that evaluated 1324 cartoons.

İlayda Katfar from İzmir and Deniz Nur Aktaş from Sinop won the Under-18 award in the competition. Önder Önerbay from Balıkesir also received the Necati Abacı Special Award.

In the competition, Luc Vernimmen from Belgium, Musa Gümüş from Istanbul and Ahmet Esmer from Balıkesir were given honorable mention. The date of the award ceremony will be announced by the Metropolitan Municipality in the coming days.
