China's Storage Index Up 3,5 Percent In April

According to the data released today from the China Logistics and Purchasing Federation, the storage index in China in April increased by 3,5 percent compared to the previous month and reached 53,7.

While the storage sector was buoyant in April, the new order index increased by 3,6 percent compared to the previous month and reached 56,1.

In terms of types, growth in new orders for food consumer goods was better than for bulk commodities. The new order index in sectors such as white goods, daily use goods and pharmaceuticals increased.
