In the award-winning project of KAYMEK, the cultural and vocational education institution of Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality, which implements the applications that make an impact with the slogan "Value Youth, Value Youth", the activities continue without slowing down in 6 different workshops at 26 different stations. In this context, a seminar on 'Basic Disaster Awareness and the First 72 Hours' was given to young people.
Metropolitan Municipality Kayseri Vocational Education and Culture Inc. Within the scope of the activities of the week, which took place to the fullest at the (KAYMEK) Değer Youth Center, with the seminar on 'Basic Disaster Awareness and the First 72 Hours' of the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD), they gained earthquake awareness and had the opportunity to reinforce what they learned with the exercises. Young people also got to know AFAD vehicles and the materials they contain.
YOUTH GET TO KNOW AFAD TOOLS AND GET INFORMATION ABOUT DISASTERS
After the earthquakes in Kahramanmaraş, which is described as the 'disaster of the century' experienced by Turkey, the Value Youth Center under KAYMEK, which carries out activities at the point of education and informing the society, carried out important activities in the seminar held with the support of AFAD. In the seminar, where the participation was intense, the young people learned the basic information about disasters and what to do in the first 72 hours, and they also had the opportunity to get to know various tools, equipment and materials belonging to AFAD.

The Value Youth Project, implemented by KAYMEK operating within the Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality, was deemed worthy of an award by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
