Industry and Technology Minister Mustafa Varank inaugurated Cube Beyoğlu, which is Turkey's first satellite incubation center in its thematic areas and was implemented in partnership with Teknopark Istanbul and Beyoğlu Municipality. Stating that Cube Beyoğlu will be an exemplary center that can create a world brand, Minister Varank said that they will support the young people and entrepreneurs who will come here with all their means.

The opening ceremony held for Cube Beyoğlu on Istiklal Street was attended by Minister Varank as well as METU Rector Prof. Dr. Verşan Kök, Rector of Boğaziçi University Prof. Dr. Naci İnci, Rector of ITU Prof. Dr. İsmail Koyuncu, Beyoğlu Mayor Haydar Ali Yıldız, Teknopark Istanbul General Manager Bilal Topçu, Istanbul Chamber of Commerce President Şekib Avdagic and entrepreneurs attended.

CAME WITH TOGG

Making a speech at the opening, Minister Varank noted that they came to the event with Togg and stated that all the ministers in the cabinet are currently using Togg as their official vehicle and they are all very pleased.

Stating that they established their incubation centers in city centers outside of technoparks in order to include especially young people in these processes, Varank said, “We are currently living in Beyoğlu, the best example of this idea. Our young people, entrepreneurs who have ideas and want to commercialize will come here. We are opening a satellite incubation center that will truly set an example for Turkey, where we will support our youth with all our means, from mentoring to guidance, from networking to marketing.” said.

Varank said that when they announced the Togg project, there were those who said, "Turkey cannot make its own car, it is suicide to make a domestic car in Turkey," but they succeeded in doing so. Stating that they completed the factory and released the vehicles in the face of all the criticisms made against Togg, Varank noted that they realized these projects by fighting against the visionless in all projects.

THE GOLDEN AGE OF ENTREPRENEURSHIP

Emphasizing that Turkey is experiencing the golden age of entrepreneurship, Varank said, “Young children, 3-4 friends can come together and establish companies with a revenue of 100-200 million dollars. While we continue to do this, one of our most important centers will be Cube Beyoğlu. We will run a thematic incubator here, as well as launch an entrepreneurship centre. We will try to instill the idea of ​​'try to stand on your own feet first, try to be your own boss, not anyone's employee' as they start life to our young people. Hopefully, thanks to those young people, we will build the Turkish Century.” said.
