No Limits Season 1 Plot and Synopsis
The first season of No Limits begins as Ángel's gang completes a heist for his father-in-law and mob boss Rogelio. Rogelio's daughter, Sole, mourns her husband, who was killed in tensions with a Chinese crime syndicate that lost his money as part of the deal. After her husband's death, the union begins targeting Sole for compensation and takes her to Ángel's gang. Sole plans heist and starts raising money using the gang. She also becomes involved with Fernan, a secret mole who joins the gang by denying that she is in jail with her late husband.
Duque, a police officer, wants Fernan to take down Rogelio, only for the mole to see Sole as a way to gain the mob boss's trust. While Sole makes an enormous amount of money, his lawyer Mercedes magnifies his dream. Following Mercedes' instructions, Sole decides to use his gang to buy shares in an African port to trade in stolen supplies. But Sole has to clear the Chinese syndicate out of his way before buying the same. He meets mob leaders who say they had nothing to do with Estrella's death or the money he stole from them.
Union leaders demand from Sole an antique vase from a historic castle as compensation for her husband's suffering. Meanwhile, he learns that Mercedes has records of every interaction it has with its customers. Since the records are incriminating evidence against Sole and the others, she decides to do the same. He makes a plan with the police chief Ferrán, who is also the lawyer's client, to steal the records stored in flash drives. Sole and Ferrán manage to carry out the plan, but Mercedes realizes that the former has turned their back on her.
Mercedes reaches out to Duque to avenge Sole, making her realize that the police must target the ex-person who may be the future of the Spanish capital's crime scene instead of Rogelio. Ferrán informs Rogelio that there is a mole in Sole's gang. Meanwhile, Mercedes' daughter Marta learns that her father is none other than Rogelio. Sole satisfies the Chinese union leaders by stealing the vase from the castle with Poli's help. Estrella's cousin, Rosa, examines the old person's phone, but finds a video that makes it clear that her cousin was killed by Ferrán.
No Limits Season 1 Ending: Sole Arrested?
No, Sole was not arrested. When Mercedes realizes that Sole has turned her back on her, she retaliates by taking Duque to the latter instead of Rogelio. After settling the Chinese union, Mercedes takes Sole to Africa to sign contracts for the port it partially bought. Fernan accompanies them. Duque arrives on the scene, following the information given by both the lawyer and the mole. After arriving on the ground, Sole meets unexpected duo Carmen and Mateo. Sole talks to them, hoping they won't be a threat to him in the end. Contrary to his impression, they eventually become his lifeguards.
Mateo tells Sole that she is in prison there with her late husband Ángel and her friend Fernan. Knowing the real Fernan, Mateo informs Sole that his friend is not who he claims to be. He even collects information on the whereabouts of the real Fernan to convince him. Before Sole confronts Fernan about the same issue, Fernan tells him that they must leave before he is arrested the next day, revealing that they are only waiting for the Colombians to leave the room to kill him as he jeopardizes their agreement and plans. .
Sole also confronts Mercedes about turning her back on him. Sole initially plans to fly away with Carmen's help, but decides to save Mercedes and Fernan regardless of what he did behind his back. Sole doesn't want to come across as the murderer of her sister Marta's mother, which causes her to save Mercedes from the Colombians who tried to kill her as the cops took them to them. The trio ends up at the nearest airport, only to join Carmen. They fly away on a chartered flight that Carmen has arranged for them. After being betrayed by her two most trusted people, Sole escapes arrest with the help of two people she thinks are trouble.
Why Is Rogelio Trying To Kill Ferrán?
Ever since Estrella's death, her cousin Rosa has been trying to unravel the mystery behind her death. He tries to pick up his deceased cousin's phone and eventually manages to do the same, but discovers a video showing Ferrán killing Estrella. Rosa sends the same to Sole to identify the murderer, only the latter calls her father Rogelio. Sole thinks her father played a role in the murder of her friend, who was found at the place where she died on her father's orders. With Estrella's death on her conscience for a long time, Sole wants to get out of this situation by confirming who was behind the woman's death.
Rogelio confronts Ferrán about the situation, only to have the police chief threaten the mob boss. Ferrán has two choices: kill Sole, preventing him from using the video to accuse him of Estrella's murder, or tell Sole that the murder was planned by him and Rogelio. Although the criminal boss was unaware of the police chief's intent to kill the woman, Ferrán thinks Sole won't share the video with the authorities if he believes his father was as involved in the murder as he was. But Rogelio cannot accept either option.
Rogelio, a loving father to his daughter, can't stand Ferrán killing Sole. Also, as the person behind Estrella's murder, she doesn't want to lose her daughter's trust and love. Rogelio must have known that his daughter would cut ties with him if he came to believe that he was carrying the blame for his own father. Rogelio decides to kill Ferrán to protect his relationship with his daughter and grandson, Pablo, but eventually fights Ferrán. Ferrán manages to take down the mob boss, but Rosa comes to Rogelio's rescue. He kills Ferrán to save his crime boss and avenge his cousin's murderer.
Why Sole Saves Fernan? Will They End Up Together?
When Sole realizes that Fernan's husband has betrayed her by pretending to be her friend, she joins hands with the Colombians to kill him. Sole forgives Mercedes for being her sister's mother and not wanting to have a relationship with Marta after she killed her mother. In Fernan's case, Sole has no such ties to save him. Still, he saves her from the Colombians after killing two men working for her ally. Sole must have formed a strong emotional bond with Fernan and may therefore be rescuing him regardless of his betrayal.
Fernan risks his life to complete his covert operation. Such a determined officer compromises his identity and reveals to Sole that he will be arrested the next day, apparently because he loves her. Fernan must have started to have feelings for Sole while pretending to be his girlfriend. Now that she confessed to Sole about her arrest and tried to save her, Sole must be giving her a second chance at life. While escaping Duque, they can hide together until the police stop following them and reveal their true feelings for each other. Having said that, Sole might think twice about being with him for his betrayal. If Fernan truly wants to unite with him, he may need to convince Sole that he is on his side and not law and order.
