Keçiören Municipality delivered laboratory materials to Hacı Sabancı Secondary School in the district with the project “One Brick is From Us”, which it started within the scope of education support activities. Keçiören Mayor Turgut Altınok also attended the delivery made with the ceremony.
In his speech addressing students and teachers at the ceremony, President Altınok said, “We give full support to education. We equip Keçiören and our schools with libraries and laboratories. We said, 'Let a brick be from us', and we opened the library that we brought to Keçiören Anatolian Imam Hatip High School with our future, young people and valuable teachers. Thanks to everybody for their exertion. We also had a great disaster. Many of our young people, from primary school students to university students, worked day and night for our earthquake victims by working wholeheartedly and collecting donations. God bless all. How lucky are we that we have such young people whose hearts beat with their nation and state. We are there for them too. We support education in every field, and I hope we will continue to do so.” said.
President Altınok and his accompanying participants then visited the library with the students and made observations.
