Investment in the high-tech industry in China grew rapidly in the first two months of the year. Sanctions on the high-tech industry increased by 15,1 percent in January and February compared to the same period last year, according to data released by China's National Bureau of Statistics. The rate of increase was 9,6 points higher than the increase in investment in total fixed assets.
The data also show that investment in the high-tech manufacturing sector increased by 16,2 percent in the first two months of the year, while investment in the high-tech service sector grew by 12,3 percent.
