The “Regulation Amending the Regulation on Wholesale and Retail Sale and Storage of Plant Protection Products” prepared by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry entered into force after being published in the Official Gazette.
With the regulation, a regulation was made for workplaces selling plant protection products in the earthquake zone. According to the relevant laws, plant protection products can be sold and stored in places permitted by the Ministry.
On the other hand, it was determined that some plant protection product sales and warehouses were affected by the earthquake in 11 provinces that were affected by the earthquakes in Kahramanmaraş and Hatay, and in the Gürün district of Sivas.
In this context, changes were made in the relevant regulation in order to avoid any victimization in the wholesale or retail sales place and warehouses of plant protection products in the buildings that were completely destroyed or damaged and the demolition decision was taken.
In the event that the approved plant protection product wholesale or retail outlets and warehouses, which are determined to be unusable in places declared as disaster areas, are moved to operate in temporary places within the same province, physical conditions required in the regulation in force for new operating places, and opening a workplace and It was made possible not to seek the working license until February 6, 2024.
The Plant Protection Products Tracking System notifications will not be required until February 6, 2024.
