Diyarbakir Metropolitan Municipality set up iftar tents at 3 different points for the month of Ramadan. The Social Services Department completed the tent preparations in three different centers in the month of Ramadan, when cooperation and solidarity increased.

Iftar service will be provided with a daily 6-course meal menu in the iftar centers, where both the people who do not have the opportunity to have iftar and the needs of the citizens on the road will be met at the time of iftar.

Social Services Department; It aims to provide iftar to 6 thousand people daily in iftar tents set up in the Tandır Evi park around Dağkapı Square, Kurşunlu Mosque Square and Bağlar Cheese Market.

In addition, iftar and sahur will be given to the citizens staying in the patient and patient relatives guesthouse of the Metropolitan Municipality during the month of Ramadan.

Catering companies audited

Food control teams affiliated to the Health Affairs Department inspected the production of companies that cook for iftar tents.

The teams, who inspected the hygiene status of the facilities, the expiration dates of the raw materials, and the conditions of use, made the necessary warnings to the cooks and related personnel so that the meats are kept in suitable cooling environments and there is no deterioration during their processing.

The teams, which monitor the cooking temperatures in production by measuring, will continue their inspections to protect public health during the month of Ramadan.
