The Ministry of Culture and Tourism announced its 2023 support for script and dialogue writing, short fiction film production, short animation film production and project development.
As a result of the evaluation made by the board consisting of representatives of the cinema sector;
- 34 million 1 thousand 311 liras for 500 script and dialogue writing projects,
- 51 million 3 thousand 237 liras for 500 short fiction film production projects,
- 6 thousand liras for 595 short animation film production projects,
- A total of 2 million 345 thousand TL support was provided for 93 projects, 5 thousand TL for 489 feature film development projects.
- The amount of support, which was 1,8 million TL last year, has been tripled this year.
Short Films Bring Young People to the Industry
The support given to short films that enable the discovery and recognition of new talents, encourage creativity and offer diversity to the audience plays an important role in the development of directors and enables them to step into the sector.
The Ministry continues to increase its support
With the decision of the first Cinema Support Board of 2023 by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, more than 105 million TL was provided to 14 movie theaters.
Documentary film production applications will be evaluated in May.
