The Bonded Warehouse Operators Association (GAID), which continues its activities with the awareness of acting jointly and taking responsibility for the future of the sector, continues its meetings with the logistics association representatives. GAID visited the Association of International Forwarding and Logistics Service Providers (UTIKAD), one of the well-established organizations of the logistics sector, after the South Anatolia tour. During the meeting, ideas were exchanged between GAID and UTIKAD about possible collaborations, while the problems of the bonded warehouse sector and solution proposals were brought up.

It was decided to cooperate between the two associations in order to seek solutions to the common problems experienced by the members, especially the abolition of the practice of issuing declarations within 48 hours after the evacuation of the vehicles arriving in land transportation, which has not encountered any negativity in its implementation for years.

ABOUT GAID:Bonded Warehouse Operators Association (GAID), which gathers bonded warehouse operators under one roof, started its activities on July 27, 2020. GAID set out to provide added value to foreign trade by supporting all stakeholders with its solution-oriented approach.

The association will carry out transparent, reliable and sustainable works by acting together with the institutions in the sectoral activities of the public. Aiming to be the leading sector organization in public-private sector cooperation, GAID; It will carry out studies so that the bonded warehouse sector, where customs clearance and storage operations are carried out, which is a part of logistics, can be heard louder and have a say in the decisions taken.
