Bozüyük Municipality January Ordinary Assembly Meeting was held under the chairmanship of Mayor Mehmet Talat Bakkalcıoğlu.

Based on the item "discussing the establishment of the Audit Commission among the members of the Municipal Assembly", which was at the top of the agenda, the election of 5 members to the audit commission was unanimously accepted, while Fatma Ersöz, Seçil Manav, Yavuz Bektaş, Harun Orhan Top and Adnan Özel were elected to the Audit Committee in the closed voting. Then, in accordance with Article 5393/49 of the Municipality Law No. 3, the subject of the wages of the contracted personnel, the determination of the "Temporary Worker" positions for the 24 Fiscal Year in accordance with the provisions of Article 2023 of the "Regulation on the Norm Staff Principles and Standards of Municipalities and Affiliates and Local Administration Unions". In subparagraph (b) of Article 5393 of the Municipal Law No. 14, “To students, athletes, technical managers and coaches who successfully represent our district in order to promote sports, when necessary, and who show outstanding success in domestic and international competitions; The issue of authorizing Mayor Mehmet Talat Bakkalcıoğlu for awarding the award was unanimously accepted. Then, the subject of offering hot soup and bread to our students who are studying in primary schools within the borders of our district, two days a week during the education period, the subject of revising the rates in the annex of the “TC Bilecik Province Bozüyük Municipality Cash Assistance Implementation Regulation (CANSUYU)”. and in accordance with subparagraph (f) of the 5393th article of the Municipal Law No. 18, 250 gr. Due to the increase in the production costs of bread, the issue of negotiating the sales prices was unanimously referred to the Plan and Budget Commission. In the 8th item of the Agenda “Test drives of 3 trams continue in the tram system, and free of charge passenger transportation service to be made by tram during the test drives and until the system is completed. While it was accepted by a majority of votes, in accordance with the letter of Bozüyük District Governorship District Registrar, numbered 5312 and dated 21.12.2022, and additional article 3194 of the Zoning Law numbered 10; The request for a zoning plan change was unanimously approved for the purpose of constructing a Cultural Facility (Cemevi) in Tekke Mahalle, block 386, parcel 129. Finally, the issues referred to the Municipal Zoning Commission were discussed and resolved at the meeting.

After the agenda items were completed, President Bakkalcıoğlu met with the headmen and listened to their requests and demands. While thanking Mayor Bakkalcıoğlu for the work done in their neighborhoods in line with their demands, the muhtars also conveyed their new demands and problems.
