China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has announced an action plan to facilitate and normalize the use of robots in the country. The action plan predicts that in 2025, the number of robots to be used in the manufacturing industry will double compared to 2020, that remarkable progress will be made in the function and scope of robots used in service and specific areas, and the role of robots in securing the country's quality socio-economic development will increase.

According to the said action plan, areas such as the manufacturing industry, agriculture, architecture, energy generation, commercial logistics, health services, care for elderly people, education, shopping services in residential neighborhoods, and emergency responses in emergencies will be prioritized.

Regarding the innovation-enriched use of robots, the action plan includes about a hundred technology and solution proposals, as well as more than 200 typical uses of robots with a high level of technology that can work as a use model, as well as proposals for the establishment of a number of model companies.

In this context, the action plan requires accurate preliminary assessments of the impact of robot use on overall employment. Thus, the employment processes of workers who will lose their jobs due to the use of robots in another branch will be prepared.
