Güneştekin used the following statements about the conversation: “One must die a thousand times to become immortal! Undoubtedly, the great master Yaşar Kemal deserves this expression more than enough. I will tell you the language of exchange and migration of the great master. The story of the exchanged people who were plucked from their roots, homelands, loved ones, songs and stories a thousand times… Open your ears and listen to those voices! You will see the colors of those sounds! Stand closer, maybe it's your own voice you're hearing…”

Güneştekin stated that he will tell about the lives of people who were displaced from their homes, and continued as follows: “But not only their lives, but also the story of people who were forced to leave their friends, relatives, memories, lands and animals, and turned into a felled tree when they were forcibly removed from the land where they were born. The body is now the story of lifeless people. I will tell you about 'Gavur Mahallesi' with the voice, color and language of the great master.”
