In this context, the Turkish Equestrian Javelin Championship, which will be held in the coming days, will be held in Kayseri. The championship, which will be held on Saturday, November 19 and Sunday, November 20, between 10.00 and 15.00 in cooperation with the Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality, the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Turkish Traditional Equestrian Sports Federation, is hosted by Spor A.Ş. will host.
Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr. Kayseri residents who wanted to witness the excitement of the championship to be experienced in the Traditional Sports Equestrian and Archery Facility, which Memduh Büyükkılıç brought to the city to contribute to the survival of ancestral sports, were offered the opportunity to watch the games free of charge.
The facility, whose construction was completed in 2021 with the cooperation of Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality and Spor Toto, and which was opened with a ceremony with various events and brought to the city, continues to host many national and international organizations since the day it was put into service.
Traditional Sports Equestrian and Archery Facility includes Equestrian Javelin, Equestrian Archery, Roots, Aba Wrestling, Lovers Games, Girdle Wrestling, Mangala, Mas Wrestling, Shalwar Wrestling, Yabusame, Oil Wrestling, Pedestrian Archery, as well as Olympic Archery, Wrestling, It includes open, semi-open and closed areas where fitness sports can be done.
The facility, where archery training is given to children as well as professional athletes, has a land area of 44 square meters, a total indoor construction area of 500 thousand square meters and a total open construction area of 5 thousand square meters.
