Deniz Yavuzyılmaz, CHP Zonguldak Deputy and Member of the KİT Commission of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, stated that the public loss in the construction of Çanakkale Bridge was 306 million 819 thousand 90 Euros and declared that he filed a criminal complaint.
Explaining that he has filed a criminal complaint, Yavuzyılmaz said, “AK Party style build-operate-transfer trick. We have determined that the construction period of the Çanakkale Bridge work was started in violation of the legislation to give the company additional operating time. Public loss: 306.819.090 Euros! I have filed a criminal complaint!” said.
The following statements were included in the petition filed by Yavuzyılmaz to the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office:
“The public loss amounting to 306.819.090 Euros in total, which was created as a result of the Çanakkale Bridge construction work, the beginning of the construction process in violation of the legislation, in order to ensure additional operation time in favor of the company, and the implementation of the implementation contract was delayed due to the fault of the company in charge, but the sanctions stipulated in the contract were not implemented.”
