Meeting with the 14th Regional Director of Highways, Umut Akyazı, and the authorities of the highways, Governor Ali Çelik was briefed on the works before the field investigations. After the briefing, he examined the ongoing works on the Tavşanlı-Domaniç road in the field.

“6,5 KM NO HOT ASPHALT LEVEL WILL BE SERVICED”

Governor Çelik stated that the 1,5 km road will be opened to traffic this year; A total of 6,5 km. He said that the road will be completed at the hot asphalt level in the spring of next year and put into service.

“THE RISK OF TRAFFIC ACCIDENTS WILL BE REMOVED”

Noting that 28,68 km of the 12,6 km road has been opened to traffic and the risk of traffic accidents on the road will be eliminated with the new project implemented, Governor Çelik said, “The standard of the road to be built as BSK will increase and a safer and more comfortable journey will be offered to our citizens.”

“THE WHOLE ROAD WILL BE FINISHED IN 2023”

Governor Ali Çelik then examined the ongoing works on the Tavşanlı-Emet road.

Governor Celik, who shared that the work continues on the remaining 32,93 km of the 4,5 km long road, said that the road, 2,5 km of which will be opened to traffic this year, will be completed in 2023.

Expressing that traffic safety has been increased by improving the existing road geometry and standard on the road that will provide the connection between Tavşanlı, Emet, Hisarcık and Simav districts, Governor Ali Çelik stated that travel time will be shortened.

Governor Çelik said that the remaining 15 km of the 4 km long road, for which landslide prevention works have been completed, will be opened to traffic this year.
