The Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure made a 30 percent increase in YHT (High Speed Train) tickets. This is the fourth hike for YHT since the beginning of the year. YHT flights were increased by 20 percent in January, 10 percent in March, and 15 percent in April. Officially 73 percent, inflation continues to burn citizens' pockets in every field.
Ankara-Istanbul with a 30 percent increase made today (Kadıköy), the ticket price was 151 liras and became 195 liras. Zamla Konya-Ankara high-speed train ticket price increased to 87 lira. The high-speed train ticket between Konya and Istanbul increased to 235 liras.
The increase in exchange rates and energy prices continues to be reflected as a hike in public transportation.
