6 different rail system projects of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure were brought to the judiciary with the objections of some companies. Completion time extended from 6 to 12 months. The financial loss suffered by the postponed projects was heavy.

While investment plans all over Turkey continue unabated, the objections made by companies to locomotive investments in particular act as a brake. 6 different infrastructure projects carried out by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure in cities such as Istanbul, Kocaeli, Bursa and Ankara were brought to the judiciary with the objections of some companies.

With the suspension of the tender process of these projects, investments are delayed and costs increase. Infrastructure investments, which were planned to be presented to the citizens as a result of objections, extended between 6 and 12 months. The financial loss suffered by the postponed projects reached 1.6 billion liras.

Kocaeli City Hospital Tram Line Stopped

Kocaeli City Hospital Tram Line Construction Work is among the investments implemented by the General Directorate of Infrastructure Investments but faced with objections. A stay of execution was granted and the tender was cancelled. The business, which was stopped on January 14, 2021, resumed on October 14, 2021. There was a loss of 273 days of time. In addition, the tender for Kocaeli City Hospital Tram Line Construction and Electromechanical Systems Supply, Installation and Commissioning Works was objected. The business, which was stopped on January 14, 2022, resumed on March 1, 2022. There was a loss of time for 46 days. In total, 95 million 639 thousand liras were damaged.

Bursa Emek-Şehir Hospital Metro Line Stopped
