İzmir's Fourth Tourism Office Opened in Kemeraltı

Mayor of Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Tunç SoyerThe renewed “Kemeraltı Tourism Information Point” was put into service in line with Kemeraltı's vision and goal of making İzmir a world city. Kemeraltı Tourism Information Point, which is the fourth tourism office after Alsancak, Kültürpark and Konak, will guide domestic and foreign tourists visiting the historical region.

Following the information offices in Alsancak, Kültürpark and Konak, the fourth center was opened in Kemeraltı.

With the decrease of the pandemic and the arrival of cruise ships, Kemeraltı information points are aimed to be an attraction point for tourists and to contribute to the promotion of Kemeraltı, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage Tentative List.

Kemeraltı Routes

The “Tourism Information Point”, located opposite the old main service building of the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, will take tourists on a historical journey with visual mapping and video animations projected on the Kemeraltı model. The "Kemeraltı Routes" presentation, which describes the 8-year-old history of İzmir and the historical process of the Kemeraltı region, which has existed for 500 years, was also prepared in English for foreign tourists.

Pandemic measures taken

The information point will serve between 10.00:17.00 and 12:XNUMX on weekdays and weekends. Considering the pandemic conditions, XNUMX people will be taken inside. New guests will be admitted to the next show after airing.
