Emphasizing that İSTAÇ is a very valuable institution of the İBB, İmamoğlu said, “One of our units, which makes the most intensive contribution to the cleanliness of Istanbul, the awareness of being green and the fight against climate, is one of our subsidiaries. As İSTAÇ, we are opening a very valuable facility for waste management and environmental protection. We put forward our 'Green Solution' vision to present the fight against climate change to our citizens under a brand. We wanted our vision of this Green Solution to have a consciousness that looks at IMM three hundred and sixty degrees as an institution and acts by saying 'I am also a part of this vision'. With this aspect, we continue to explain in every environment that we can achieve a great success with the reflection of this understanding that we will create in IMM, to all institutions of Istanbul and to 16 million Istanbulites.”

Expressing that the renewal of the vehicle fleet will also be a part of the Green Solution vision, İmamoğlu said, “This project started in Başakşehir in 2017. In many of our projects, we have also explained how we follow up and complete every project that will contribute to the environment and is meaningful to the people of Istanbul, by making some revisions. This is one of our projects that we have completed and brought to our city. Because, we have expressed at every point that our overall view on every project that we believe will benefit our people is positive, and that there is a fundamental understanding in the continuity of healthy business, especially in the execution and management of state institutions. Here, we have implemented and succeeded one of them," he said.

Stating that with the renewal of the vehicle fleet, they will carry out the same work with fewer vehicles and the number of trips, İmamoğlu shared the knowledge that they will save 5,5 million liters of fuel per year, emphasizing that there will be significant reductions in maintenance-repair and spare parts costs. In this respect, savings are very valuable. Keeping the environment clean is very valuable. Along with other issues, we are truly enjoying the pleasure and genuine smile of the people of Istanbul, who said, 'A good thing has been done to 16 million people today, and a valuable step has been taken to present us with a city where we can breathe more good breath and fresh air'.

Imamoglu said, "Only İSKİ needs an investment of 1 billion Euros, which needs to be started in order for Istanbul to become fully equipped with an excellent water treatment and wastewater facilities."

“This has its place in the strategic report. Unfortunately, when we prepared this report, it was 8-9 billion Turkish Liras. But right now it has come to a cost that goes towards almost 16, 17, 18 billion. But we have to. In this respect, instead of making speeches that are pulled from below, pulled from above, twisted to the left and right, that is, to confuse people, while making decisions about our institutions, without wasting time, without hindering all these works, over numbers, numbers, reports, instead of making speeches that are pulled from the bottom, pulled from the top, twisting their heads like that, so that people get confused. , math, we have to make calculations like 2×2 makes four, take decisions and execute them. Who are they? First of all, I IBB President. IMM staff. But the decision maker is the IMM Assembly and all the public, institutions and administrators of our state. The main issue is here. In these works, 'fasa fiso' concepts of politics have no place; shouldn't be. These are real works. These are the issues related to our child's bathing in sparkling water at home. Or as a family, it is a matter of our children, mothers and fathers having picnics and sports in green environments. Or it is a matter of making wudu in the mosque. Or it is a matter of the humane fulfillment of our other needs. It is a political issue. Fasa fiso concepts have no place in these works. The issue of green solution is important, historical, humanitarian, conscientious and a great responsibility. We will fulfill this responsibility. If there are obstacles to their fulfillment, we will not hesitate to explain them in a transparent way in front of our citizens, who is responsible for those obstacles."
