Introducing Denizli's culture and melodies to the whole world, the unforgettable folk poet Özay Güldüm will be remembered with a commemoration ceremony and concert on the 22nd anniversary of his departure. Publishing a message on the anniversary of my heart's death, Mayor Zolan invited all his fellow countrymen to the commemoration programs.

A commemoration concert and ceremony will be held on the occasion of the 22nd anniversary of the death of Denizli folk poet Özay Güldüm. It will be held in front of the Çatalçeşme Chamber Theater, where the first ceremonial statue of Özay Güldüm, who passed away on March 1, 2000, took a special place in the hearts of the Turkish people. A wreath will be laid on the statue of my heart on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at 11.00:22 am. In the evening of the same day, Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Conservatory will organize the "Özay Heart's 20.30nd Anniversary Commemoration Program". At the commemoration concert, which will start at XNUMX in the Mehmet Gazi Hall of the Metropolitan Municipality Congress and Culture Center, the beautiful works of my heart will be performed. The memorial concert, to which all citizens are invited, will be free of charge.

Stating that Özay Güldüm is an artist who has been a great asset to the country and that he has devoted a large part of his life to Turkish Folk Music, Mayor Zolan said, “Today, Özay Güldüm, whom we miss so much, has woven the folk songs, culture and values ​​of our city, loop by thread, and told them to the whole world. It is our duty to pass on our famous folk poet Özay Güldüm and all of his works to future generations. I once again commemorate our esteemed artist Özay Güldüm with mercy and gratitude on the 22nd anniversary of his passing. May God have mercy on him."
