The goal is to reach one million citizens every month.

Making an assessment on the subject, Minister of National Education Mahmut Özer said: “While we are constantly increasing the capacity and quality of the formal education we offer as the Ministry, we are also trying to meet the trainings demanded by our citizens of all ages through our public education centers. Our 81 public education centers in 996 provinces are intensively trying to meet these demands. In January 2022, 602 thousand 282 citizens benefited from the courses. We see that more women benefit from the courses. 602% of our 282 thousand 67 citizens who benefited from the courses in January are women. For this reason, in 2022, we aim to increase the variety of courses offered by our public education centers, especially by taking into account our women, and within this scope, we aim to reach one million citizens every month. For this purpose, they are working hard to receive demands from our citizens in the regions where all our public education centers are located.”

The highest demand was for hygiene education

The highest demand in public education centers was for the "Hygiene Training for Employees in the Food and Water Sector" course attended by 484 thousand 41 citizens. This training was followed by "Computer Operator", "Beekeeping", "Social Harmony and Life", "Quran Reading" and "English" courses.

Certificates in e-Government

The Ministry of National Education has added a new one to its efforts to facilitate access to documents and certificates given after the services it has provided. All certificates received for the courses organized by public education centers were made accessible via the e-Government portal. Citizens who have received a new certificate or want to re-take their old certificates will be able to easily obtain their barcoded certificates through the e-government portal. Thus, citizens will not have to go to public education centers to receive their certificates.
