Bursa Technical University (BTU) Rector Prof. Dr. The delegation consisting of Arif Karademir and BTU academicians visited the Gökmen Space Aviation Training Center. Speaking at the visit, BTU Rector Prof. Dr. Arif Karademir said, “I would like to thank Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry for realizing such an important project in Bursa. As BTU, we are ready to contribute to GUHEM with all our strength. " said.

With the vision of BTSO in 2013, with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Technology, with the cooperation of Bursa Metropolitan Municipality and TÜBİTAK, GUHEM, BTU Rector Prof. Dr. Arif Karademir and academicians were hosted. Arif Karademir and the accompanying delegation received information about the activities carried out at the center by Muhsin Koçaslan, Member of the Board of Directors of BTSO and Halit Mirahmetoğlu, General Manager of GUHEM.

BTSO Board Member Muhsin Koçaslan stated that GUHEM has increased the awareness of the young generation especially in space and aviation fields and said, “GUHEM, which was implemented by our Chamber under the leadership of our President İbrahim Burkay, will bring a vision to our youth and children in the field of space and aviation. For GUHEM, which I think will inspire many projects in this field, our cooperation with our universities is of great importance. The intertwining of our GUHEM and our university students and our esteemed academicians will carry our project further. " said.

With our young and dynamic structure, we, as Bursa Technical University, will support the project with all our strength. We participate intensively in TEKNOFEST as a stakeholder university. This year, with the incentives of our Ministry of Industry and T3 Foundation, the aviation competition will be held at Bursa Yunuseli Airport. "We can realize the original studies to be carried out in Bursa on aviation, together with our city dynamics, in cooperation with GUHEM. Stating that there are 500 students participating in TEKNOFES, Rector Karademir said, “Our students carry out many projects including flying vehicles, rockets and urbanism and architecture in space. GUHEM stands before us as an important center for them to transfer their knowledge and experience practically to their younger siblings. We, as a university, will be a part of GUHEM with our professors and students. " said.
