Passenger Train Crashed into Car at Level Crossing in Adana

Passenger train hit the car at the level crossing in Adana. Luckily, the driver escaped the accident unscathed.

According to the information obtained, the train carrying passengers from Adana to Mersin hit the 01 COS 71 plate car used by Ali Yörük at the level crossing in Büyükdikili District of central Seyhan district. It was alleged that the train from Adana to Mersin was hit by the car when Yörük wanted to cross the opposite lane without waiting for the closed barrier to open after the passenger train from Mersin to Adana was crossing at the level crossing. While the vehicle was damaged due to the accident, the driver Ali Yörük survived the accident unscathed.

The vehicle on the railway track was removed by means of the tow tractor. The railway was opened.
