Sivas Mayor Dr. Adem Uzun examined the ongoing Castle Project on site and received information about the works.
Work continues on the Historical Castle Project, which was initiated to revitalize the traditional architectural texture of the city and increase the tourism potential in the region. Mayor Dr. examined the project, which was tendered in the past years and is under construction. Adem Uzun received information from the teams about the latest situation and wished them luck.
Making an evaluation about the project, Mayor Uzun said, “We will accelerate our work in the coming days. We want to bring this area to our city with both its history and culture. High-speed train services between Sivas and Istanbul will start in the coming days.
We know that the historical area we are located in will also contribute to the tourism of Sivas. "We will unearth boutique hotels, local restaurants, and spatial areas that will bring the historical and cultural values of our city to the fore." said.
“We believe that when the project is completed, the Historical Castle will be one of the places that guests visiting our city will visit.” Mayor Uzun said, “We have made the necessary evaluations, the work continues. The project needs to be accelerated and we will work for this. The security of the area is also very important to us, 24-hour security will be provided.” he said.
