Money Transferred to Tügva and Ensar in Izmit Was Cut Off!

Mayor Fatma Kaplan Hürriyet, who started her second term in Izmit, canceled the 25-year protocol made with TÜGVA and Ensar Foundation in the previous period in the first parliament. CHP Ankara Deputy Umut Akdoğan touched upon the cancellation of the protocol, which was determined to be irregular by the Court of Accounts reports and court decision, in the Turkish Grand National Assembly.

“WE CUT OFF THE MONEY THEY PAID”

Speaking at the General Assembly of the Turkish Grand National Assembly, CHP Ankara Deputy Umut Akdoğan drew attention to the public waste that emerged after the CHP came first in the local elections and explained the irregularities in the municipalities. Referring to Izmit Municipality's cancellation of the protocol with TÜGVA and Ensar Foundation, Akdoğan said, "Thankfully, we stopped the money that Izmit Municipality was pouring into TÜGVA and Ensar Foundation after we received the majority in the municipal council."
