An explosion occurred in the drinking water line of DSI at Bodrum's Torba Junction at 19.55 in the evening. Muğla Metropolitan Municipality MUSKİ teams started the first intervention at Torba Junction, where the explosion occurred around 20.10. The teams immediately cut off the water supply to the line.
Teams Worked on the Field All Night
Following the explosion of the drinking water line at Torba Junction, Metropolitan Municipality teams continue their work in the region. While the metropolitan teams continue to work in shifts, the renovation of burst pipes continues. It was learned that the line will be re-commissioned after the teams work.
Muğla Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ahmet Aras shared his post about the incident on his social media account and said, “I went to the area after the explosion on the main transmission line at Bodrum-Milas Highway Torba Junction. In order to complete the work as soon as possible, I instructed Bodrum Municipality to request construction equipment support and active coordination. "Our teams continue to work to resolve the malfunction," he said.
