April 23 will be Celebrated with Various Events in Istanbul

April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day will be celebrated with various events and organizations by Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality.

April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day, which Mustafa Kemal Atatürk presented as a gift to Turkish and world children, will be celebrated with events organized by Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality in every corner of Istanbul. An official ceremony will be held in Taksim on April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day.

Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality will also present two festivals to the children of the city on April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day. The International April 18 Children's Festival, organized for the first time this year by IBB Culture between 24-2024 April 23, will host children's folk dance troupes and 16 children from 394 countries around the world in Istanbul.

City Theaters Traditional 38 Children's Festival will bring colorful games and workshops to children on 21-23 April.

Turkish and world children will come together in Istanbul at the International 18 April Children's Festival, organized for the first time this year by IBB Culture between 24-23 April. Children's folk dance groups from Germany, Bulgaria, People's Republic of China, Palestine, Georgia, Hungary, Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, North Macedonia, Mexico, Colombia, Kosovo, Lithuania, Poland, Serbia, Slovakia and Ukraine will participate in the festival.

In addition to guests from all over the world, folk dance groups from Turkey, Ağrı, Gaziantep, Hatay Samandağ, Sinop, Malatya and Trabzon will take part in this colorful festival, which will be hosted by Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality for the first time. On behalf of the host city Istanbul, groups formed by IMM Culture and Art Education and teams representing Istanbul will attend the International April 23 Children's Festival.

The event, which will start at 14.00 at Üsküdar Beach Square accompanied by a DJ, will continue with Kids Zumba, Maya the Bee, Masha and the Big Bear and Kukuli for children. Following the Fatih Ermiş Illusion Show, folk dance shows of teams from Lithuania, Hungary, Sinop, Hatay, Palestine and Poland will take place. The event will continue with the concert of Ceza and Zeynep Bastık.

April 23 Children's Festival will be held in Arnavutköy, at İSKİ Terkos Culture House and Life Park, on April 12.00, between 18.00-23. Grow Your Dreams, which is carried out under the umbrella of the Istanbul Foundation under the leadership of Dilek Kaya İmamoğlu, will also take place with the tent of events and games. Activities such as puzzles, hopscotch and painting will be held in the tent area.
