Albion Online; Opens Dedicated “Albion Europe” server for Europe, Middle East and North Africa. Albion Online, the fantasy sandbox MMORPG game developed by Sandbox Interactive, today announced the launch of its new Albion Europe server, optimized for the Europe, Middle East and North Africa regions. This new server will offer players in the region a fresh start in the world of Albion, as well as faster connection speeds, better ping and lower latency, and timed events optimized for region time.
The Albion Europe server, which opened as the third server after the Albion West (now Albion America) servers opened in 2017 and the Albion East (now Albion Asia) servers opened in 2023, brings two new in-game language support with new Turkish and Arabic language support.
With the opening of the server, the game will be free to download and play by players not only in these regions but all over the world. Additionally, as with existing servers, the game will continue to be fully cross-platform on Albion Europe. Thus, players will be able to play from PC, Mac, Linux, Android and iOS devices with a single account.
By purchasing Founder's Packs, players will gain full access to the Closed Beta process and early access to the Albion East server starting April 3, 2024. Founder's Packs will provide beta and early access, as well as the opportunity to preserve existing character and guild names. Moreover, it will offer the opportunity to obtain Gold (the game's premium currency), Premium (offering content that enhances the player's gameplay quality and progress acceleration) and many in-game items, including Founders-exclusive Name Tags, Avatars, Furniture and Vanity Items.
