Dalgıç: “We Have a Promise of Barrier-Free Mudanya”

Republican People's Party (CHP) Mudanya Mayor Candidate Deniz Dalgıç visited Bursa Disabled People's Federation Mudanya Branch and met with disabled people and their relatives.

Dalgıç, who listened firsthand to the difficulties experienced by disabled citizens, said that they wanted to make Mudanya a barrier-free city. Stating that they are aware of the problems experienced by disabled people and developing projects in this direction, Dalgıç said, “When we take office, we will remove all obstacles and make a barrier-free Mudanya. Each individual has their own needs and rights to socialize. "We will create a city where we will all live together and we will plan our social areas to use them together." said.

Deniz Dalgıç, who also celebrated March 21 World Down Syndrome Awareness Day, said, “It is very important to announce to everyone that Down syndrome is not a disease but a difference and that being different is normal and to increase this sensitivity. In this sense, we must all do our part. Individuals with Down syndrome love unconditionally and remind you how meaningful and beautiful it is to truly love. I wish March 21 to be a day when it is understood that we are equal and that a difference in numbers between us does not make a difference.” she said.

SOCIAL MUNICIPALITY

Emphasizing that they will act on the path shown by Atatürk and with the social municipality approach of CHP, Dalgıç said, “Our eyes and hearts are open to everyone. We know everyone exists. We are also aware of our disabled friends, elderly people, retirees, and young people who cannot socialize, cannot do sports and are in the grip of bad habits. "It is not possible for us to remain indifferent to these, and we will not remain indifferent." he said. "We will rebuild Mudanya together, but this will be more than building a building, it will be a construction of ideas and emotions," said Dalgıç and continued his words as follows:

“101 years ago, a feeling and spirit of the Republic was built in Mudanya. We will create this again, in cooperation with all segments of society. Mudanya has been a city where many cultures have lived in peace throughout history. The most important element in this culture is polyphony. Our disabled people are also a part of this diversity. We will live in peace, with this diversity, in peace and ease, by sharing.”
