Vocational High School Students Produce Wall Paint in Adıyaman

Adıyaman Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School students earned 2 million 1 thousand lira in 109 years with the wall paint they produced. The school aims to provide students with practical education while also contributing to the family and country economy.

An income of 2 million 1 thousand lira was obtained in 109 years from the wall paint produced by the students of Adıyaman Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School.

School Principal Özlem Tatar said that they started to produce wall paint 2015 years ago, after products such as disinfectants, cleaning materials and masks, in the Chemistry Department, which was opened in 2.

Stating that they launched the paint under the name "Aditek", Tatar said, "A serious contribution was made to the revolving fund in this field. Our school, which produced 10 thousand liters of paint in the past period, earned 2 million 1 thousand lira in 109 years. In this way, we provided our students with the opportunity to learn by experience while preparing environments where they can apply the information they learned in class.” said.

Stating that they aim to raise productive young people who contribute to the family and country's economy, are entrepreneurs, have professional ethics and national values, Tatar said, "We aim to contribute in terms of paint to the earthquake residences that were completed after the disaster in our country." he said.

Chemistry teacher Hacı Kuruş said that there are 6 staff and 150 students in the workshop.

Yunus Aksu, one of the students, stated that he was learning a profession while earning money and that his dream was to open his own business.
