Mayor Recep Gürkan stated that the proposal to grant Edirne tourism ambassador rank and certificate to Bahri Dinar, the President of Edirne Promotion and Tava Ciğer Quality Protection Association, who made a great contribution to the promotion of the city in the television programs he participated in, was previously unanimously accepted by the Municipal Council. He thanked Bahri Dinar for his contributions.
Historical Ciğerci Bahri Dinar thanked Mayor Gürkan, Municipal Council members and the people of Edirne and said, "This will be an unforgettable memory for me." Dinar added that he will continue to serve as Edirne's Tourism Ambassador, which he has been doing honorary for years, in a more official capacity from now on, with the decision taken by the local council.
