Department of Foreign Relations Tradesmen and Craftsmen Affairs Branch provides food support to tradesmen working during Ramadan. In this context, hot meals were prepared for taxi drivers who had to work during iftar time. Food distribution was first carried out in Izmit district.
39 STOPS 300 TRADESMEN
Metropolitan teams distributed iftar meals to 39 taxi drivers at 300 stops in Izmit district yesterday, close to iftar time. The teams will serve hot meals to the remaining 26 stops today. Within the scope of the work carried out, food will be distributed to taxi drivers in all districts throughout the month of Ramadan.

The taxi driver, who was satisfied with the hot food distribution, thanked Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Tahir Büyükakın. While some of the tradesmen broke their fast at taxi stands, some had iftar in their vehicles.
