Tokat Mayor Eyüp Eroğlu came together with the family of the martyrs and shared the iftar table on the first day of the holy month of Ramadan. Mayor Eroğlu broke the fast with the family of Infantry Specialist Sergeant Seyfettin Aktaş, son of Duran Aktaş from Tokat Municipality Fire Department, who was martyred in Northern Iraq in 2018. Announcing this special meeting on his social media account, Mayor Eroğlu wished that the blessings and mercy of the month of Ramadan would surround everyone.

In his post, Eroğlu said, “We had our first iftar with our martyr family, entrusted to us by Infantry Specialist Sergeant Seyfettin Aktaş, the son of our Fire Department colleague Duran Aktaş, who was martyred in Northern Iraq in 2018. My God; "May the mercy of Ramadan surround us all, may the souls of all our martyrs rest in peace," he said.
