May God keep abundance from our tables and peace from our homes. I hope that these holy days, which herald sharing, solidarity, tolerance, unity and brotherhood, will bring goodness to our country, our nation and the entire Islamic world. "I hope that our Lord, who brought us together with the holy month of Ramadan, the sultan of 11 months, the beginning of which is mercy, the middle of which is purification from sins, and the end of which is salvation from the torment of hell, will also bring us together with the Eid in health and well-being," he said.

“WE WILL GIVE THE BEST ANSWER WITH UNITY AND TOGETHER”
President Ergün continued his speech, “Today is also the 109th anniversary of our Çanakkale Victory. We cleared our country of the enemy by fighting shoulder to shoulder in Çanakkale, from Edirne to Kars, from Diyarbakır to Manisa, from Elazığ to Adana, from Aleppo to Izmir. Who can break this unity and solidarity? Who can criticize this brotherhood? We will not allow this and will give the best answer with our unity and solidarity to those who want to separate our nation, which has lived brotherly on these lands for thousands of years and has a common future. "I wholeheartedly believe that by respecting and embracing each other, we will build a stronger Turkey from Edirne to Kars," he said.

WE CARRY MANİSA TO THE TURKISH CENTURY

Stating that they are working hard to carry Manisa to the Turkish Century, Mayor Cengiz Ergün said, “We will go to the polls in about 2 weeks, with good luck. We are working hard to carry our city into the Turkish Century within the People's Alliance established under the leadership of our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and our Nationalist Movement Party Chairman, Mr. Devlet Bahçeli. We explain our heartfelt projects everywhere we go. We work without engaging in dirty politics or compromising slanderous propaganda. Just as we have provided equal service to everyone without any discrimination since I took office in 2009, we developed our projects with the same understanding in 2014, when Manisa became a metropolitan city. We say, "May God give us whatever is good for us." After all, there is nothing beyond what is written in destiny. If you show your trust and deem us worthy of this duty for another 5 years, we will be by your side with our projects and services that will carry our city into the Turkish Century in the new period. "I pray that God will help us all on this path we have embarked on," he said.
