Sarıgöl Mayor Necati Selçuk, who started his speech by saying, "I am proud of our fellow citizens living in 35 neighborhoods and my brave brothers," said, "I would like to express that we are very proud and happy of this opening ceremony and of offering these services to you. Do we remember Sarıgöl from 10 years ago? Since there was no service from Manisa, our citizens were campaigning to connect to Denizli before 2014. In 2014, the bad fate of our district changed. Our Lord has given us the opportunity to walk the path under the auspices of our Metropolitan Municipality Mayor, Mr. Cengiz Ergün. "The face of our district, where many important investments have been made, has changed with the investments of our Metropolitan Mayor and Sarıgöl Municipality," he said.

Mayor Ergün continued his speech as follows: “With your trust and support in us, we have carried out our work with the understanding of productive municipality since the first day we took office as the founding Metropolitan Mayor of Manisa. With the understanding that serving the public is the greatest worship, we have undertaken valuable projects that will change the face of Sarıgöl, as well as throughout Manisa. City Square, Wastewater Treatment Plant, Atatürk Youth Center, Mimar Sinan Children's Culture and Art Center, Şehit Haşim Dirik Indoor Car Park and Marketplace, Özpınar, Dadağlı, Kızılçukur Multi-Purpose Event Halls, Kyrenia and İstiklal Prestige Avenues, Siteler Park, Şehit Fevzi Tekeş "We have brought many services to our district such as the Park, Cumhuriyet Square Renovation, MABEM, Food Bank, mosque lighting, cemetery protection fence works and social assistance," he said.

245 KILOMETERS OF ASPHALT, 884 THOUSAND SQUARE METERS OF LOCK PARQUET
Stating that they made the road networks safe and comfortable in Sarıgöl, Mayor Ergün said, "Moving from the idea that roads are civilization, we have carried out 245 kilometers of asphalt work and 883 thousand 529 square meters of key paving stone work in our district so far."

RECORD SUPPORT FOR RURAL DEVELOPMENT
Sarıgöl, one of the food warehouses of Manisa with its fertile lands, is important in terms of rural development. We did not forget Sarıgöl, the capital of Sultani grapes, in our services for rural development, for which we allocated a large budget of 150 million Liras last year. We supported our Sarıgöl farmers with numerous services such as irrigation ponds, spillways, animal drinking water ponds, feed support, ram support, taral filling, agricultural machinery support, fertilizer support. The contribution we provided to our farmers in Sarıgöl alone amounted to 8 million 950 thousand liras. "I hope their products will be abundant and their earnings will be fruitful," he said.

MANİSA'S GARBAGE PROBLEM HAS BEEN MADE IN HISTORY
Mayor Ergün stated that they not only solved Manisa's garbage problem, but also produced electricity from garbage, and said, “When we took office, there was a garbage problem in our city. In 2017, we brought Uzunburun Solid Waste Disposal Facility and Regular Landfill to our city, putting an end to Manisa's 40-year problem. We brought Biomass and Biogas Energy Production Facility to this facility with an investment of 90 million EUR. Here, we meet the energy needs of approximately 24,6 thousand households by producing 103 megawatts of energy. In other words, by producing electricity from the garbage that once poisoned us with its explosions and fires, we provide significant added value to our country's economy. We didn't stop there. Breaking a first in Turkey, we started to transport the garbage in our districts by train. Thanks to the project we implemented in cooperation with the State Railways, we travel 3 million fewer kilometers annually, reduce carbon emissions, and protect our air and nature. "With the transfer station we built in Alaşehir Killik District, we transport the domestic waste of our Alaşehir, Sarıgöl, Kula, Selendi, Demirci and Salihli districts to Uzunburun."

“NOT FOR FUTURE ELECTIONS, BUT FOR FUTURE GENERATIONS”
Mayor Ergün continued his words by emphasizing that they are working with the understanding that they are working for future generations, not for the next elections, and said, “Thankfully, we have provided great services to our district through our MASKİ General Directorate. With our 101 and 154 Neighborhood Infrastructure Projects, we renewed the infrastructure and superstructures of our Karacaali, Yeşiltepe, Afşar, Tırazlar, Doğuşlar, Ziyanlar, Günyaka, Kahramanlar, Kızılçukur, Dindarlı, Güneydamları, Şeyhdavutlar, Baharlar and Yukarıkoçaklar Neighborhoods. We carried out 353 kilometers of drinking water, rainwater and sewage line work throughout our district. In addition, we carried out the maintenance and repair of 46 drinking water tanks. We opened 51 drinking water wells. We cleaned 25 thousand tons of garbage from the stream beds by carrying out Kyrenia Street stream improvement and 18 kilometers of stream cleaning. With our packaged drinking water treatment facilities and automatic chlorination systems, we ensured that the water reaching households in our district became healthier. As our ancestors said, the one who loves his country the most is the one who does his duty best. "This is exactly our understanding and the understanding of the People's Alliance," he said.

298 MILLION 700 THOUSAND LIRA WAS INVESTED IN SARIGÖL
Summarizing the services provided to Sarıgöl, Mayor Ergün said, “In the past period, as Manisa Metropolitan Municipality and MASKİ General Directorate, we have brought investments worth 298 million 700 thousand liras to our district. "May God grant us the ability to use all our services in good days," he said.
MAYOR ERGÜN ALSO EXPLAINED SARIGÖL'S NEW TERM PROJECTS
Mayor Ergün continued his speech as follows: “If you show us your favor and give us the task of managing our city for another term, we will bring a new bus terminal to Sarıgöl in the new term. We will build 2 new bridges in the region over Kocaçay and put them at the service of our fellow citizens. We will bring new spillways to our district, which is the heart of agriculture, in addition to the 10 spillways we built in cooperation with our Sarıgöl municipality. We will implement our Children's Day Care and Nursery project for our children, who are the guarantee of our future. The new wastewater treatment plant in Sarıgöl district, which took place in our mass opening ceremony today, will be added to the district center, as well as Afşar, Ahmetağa, Bağlıca, Bahadırlar, Baharlar, Bereketli, Çanakçı, Çimentepe, Doğuşlar, Emcelli, Güneydamları, Özpınar, Selimiye, Sığırtmaçlı, Tırazlar, Yeşiltepe, Yukarıkoçaklar. We will purify domestic wastewater by connecting our neighborhoods with the new collector line. These are our new words to our beautiful district. President Ergün continued his words by stating that Sarıgöl has always embraced them and said, “Together with President Necati, we will continue our work with the love and excitement of the first day, with the understanding of Sarıgöl as our love and Manisa as our love. We will work hand in hand, heart and soul, to carry the rising success of the People's Alliance to higher levels. With God's permission, we will again bring the best services to our district in the new period. Have no doubt about it.
