The opening of the Bus Terminal and Fire Station, which was brought to Bozkır by Konya Metropolitan Municipality, was made by Konya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Uğur İbrahim.

Konya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay reminded that he was in his father's home, Bozkır, for the opening of the Election Coordination Center last week and said, “We are in Bozkır again this week and are opening two important facilities. Stating that the area chosen for Bozkır Bus Terminal and Fire Brigade is very important in terms of logistics, Mayor Altay said, “Our vehicles, which cause problems in the city, will no longer have problems parking here and getting on and off passengers. In addition, we will provide a welcoming and farewell service to our citizens coming and going to Bozkır, at a bus terminal worthy of Bozkır. I hope the fire station we built right next door will never be needed, but when needed, it is a facility that is within reach of every part of Bozkır and suits our Konya and Bozkır as a standard. Unfortunately, in the previous area, we had to keep our fire trucks empty in winter due to the danger of frost. Our colleagues also did not have sufficient opportunities. These two important facilities will help raise standards in our Bozkır. "I hope it will be beneficial," he said.
“WE REDUCED TRANSPORTATION PRICES BY 50 PERCENT”
Referring to the study on transportation, Mayor Altay said, “One of the biggest complaints was about transportation prices. I would also like to thank our tradesmen for the work we started to implement as of March 1. "We have reduced all transportation prices in our districts by 50 percent, with the remaining part being covered as diesel support from our Metropolitan Municipality," he said.

Emphasizing that they are now in a new era, Mayor Altay said, “We know the shortcomings of our steppe. I hope we will start the construction of a hotel worthy of our steppe as soon as possible. I hope we will bring a wedding hall worthy of Bozkır to our district within 5 years, where we will hold meetings and where you can hold your weddings, henna nights, and military farewells. In addition, we will start the construction of new industrial shops as soon as possible in the area given to our Metropolitan Municipality, so that our producers, especially those living outside the city, can return to our Bozkır. Look, we have all witnessed how the face of Bozkır and its neighborhoods has changed in 5 years. Hopefully, we want the same team to serve our city again for another 5 years. At the end of his speech, Mayor Altay invited all the people of Bozkır to the rally that President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will hold in Konya at 14.30 on Sunday.
Following the speeches in the program attended by AK Party Konya Provincial Board Member Ahmet Fidan, Ahırlı Mayor İsa Akgül, Yalıhüyük Mayor Hasan Koçer and Güneyşığı Mayor Ahmet Demir, the Bozkır Bus Terminal and Fire Station was opened.
