Ordu Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr. While Ünye Port, which has gained international functionality and increased trade volume with the investments initiated by Mehmet Hilmi Güler, has taken an active role in maritime transportation and tourism, Ordu will become one of the leading ports and tourism cities with the projects that Mayor Güler will implement in the second five years.
Mayor Güler, who prepared Ünye Port for maritime transportation and tourism with containers, Ro-Ro and cruise ships with the works initiated in 2019, is opening Ordu to the world in the new period. Not only limited to Ünye Port, Mayor Güler will make Ordu a shining star in the international port and tourism arena with the projects he will implement in other districts along the coastline.
With the trade centers, port, dock and marina projects, the feasibility of which has been prepared in Altınordu, Fatsa, Gülyalı and Thursday districts and which will be implemented under the leadership of Mayor Güler, Ordu will become one of the few port and tourism cities both in Turkey and in the world.
The golden age will begin in Ordu with the completion of the project of the century, the Black Sea-Mediterranean road, which opens the gates of the Black Sea to the Mediterranean, and the Akkuş-Niksar road, which is under construction, and the completion of industrial investments, especially after the end of the Russia-Ukraine war.
