Organized by Izmir Metropolitan Municipality "5. “Neighborhood Theaters Meeting” started at Kültürpark Youth Theatre. Neighborhood Theaters, which are on stage with 4 plays from Bornova, Buca, Konak and Balçova regions, offer art-filled days to theater lovers.
Neighborhood Theaters Meeting, organized by Izmir Metropolitan Municipality for the fifth time this year, started at Kültürpark Youth Theatre. Neighborhood Theaters, which brought its plays to the people of Izmir after a year of training, is on the stage this year with 4 plays from Bornova, Buca, Konak and Balçova regions. Semih Çelenk is the coordinator of the project, which aims to establish its own theater team in each neighborhood and to act collectively for a common purpose by strengthening the communication between the residents of the neighborhood. Bornova Mahalle Theater met with the audience with the play "The Price of Freedom" on March 10, and Buca Mahalle Theater met with the audience with the play "Dokundurmalar" on March 11.
